Our Management Team
Mr. Paski has held senior management positions in Fortune 50, privately held, and venture capital-funded companies over the last 30 years. His responsibilities have included technical, operational, and program management for high technology projects, from several million dollar advanced intelligent transportation systems (ITS) to multi-billion-dollar global fiber optic systems. He joined 4D in 2007 and has held VP Engineering, VP Operations, COO and now holds the CEO position.
Prior to joining 4D, he was Director of Engineering and Contracts with Traffic Control Systems, a leading ITS integrator in the New York metropolitan area, VP of Operations for Red Sky Systems and VP of Network Engineering & Operations for Tyco Telecommunications. Mr. Paski holds multiple US and international patents, has been published in professional society journals, has spoken at domestic and international conferences and has served on Boards of Directors. He earned both his BSEE and MSEE from Purdue University and is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
Mr. Jackson has 32 years of experience in systems design, hardware design, and transfer into manufacture for a broad range of technologies and has been with 4D Security Solutions since its inception, establishing the engineering group for the company, and directing the technology and architecture development that remain core to 4D’s system solutions.
He started his career in the Central Intelligence Agency working in image processing, video distribution, digital signal processing, covert communications, and advanced projects. The then spent 18 years at Bell Labs in Submarine Systems (acquired by Tyco) rising to Managing Director, and leading the development of undersea fiber optic communications technologies, where his team introduced many firsts now considered cornerstones in the industry, and designed hardware responsible for billions of dollars in revenue.
Mr. Jackson then entered the start-up world, where he led a high-speed fiber optics team from prototype through manufacture and eventual acquisition, and two new and successful start-ups from concept to design delivery in the areas of innovative fiber optic aircraft harnesses, and currently security and asset protection systems.
Formally trained as an EE with specialties in optics, guided optics, propagation, and antennas, Mr. Jackson also has substantial experience in firmware systems, automated test methodologies and statistical production control. He is a published author, holds multiple patents, and is a recognized leader in optical and communications engineering. He has held positions of Managing Director, VP Engineering (multiple), General Manager, and Chief Technology Officer.
His graduate and undergraduate degrees are from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, where he was a charter member of one of the first university fiber optics research programs. It was there that he invented and produced the first fiber sensor embedded in composite material, now an industry practice and flown by NASA.
Mr. Caspi is Chief of Engineering and Delivery for 4D Security Solutions, Inc. In this capacity he is responsible for all engineering activities and resources within 4D, including Software Development, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, and System Test. In addition, he oversees engineering support for business development and proposal initiatives.
Prior to joining 4D in 2010, Mr. Caspi served as Vice President Regional Services for NICE Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for implementation and support for all NICE solutions and customer sites throughout the Americas with oversight of over 100 professionals, driving $20M in annual Professional Services revenue and $50M in annual Maintenance revenue.
With over 25 years experience, Mr. Caspi previously held senior positions with Amdocs, Inc., a global CRM and Billing Systems company, where he was Director of Data Center Operations, responsible for the operations of an outsourcing engagement with a major cellular carrier with over 20 million subscribers; and earlier with IBM Israel he was Project Manager for the Government Division. Previous experience includes key roles in system engineering and technical project management with Elbit Systems for major helicopter avionic system upgrades, and the Israeli Air Force, leading the air surveillance command and control system.
Mr. Caspi holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, a Graduation Diploma in Advanced Command and Control Systems from the Israeli Air Force, and a Graduation Diploma in Business Management for Engineers from the Technion.
Mr. Quaglin, with 4D since 2007, is Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities Management reporting to the CEO where he oversees all Human Resources activities for 4D, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits Administration, EEO and Affirmative Action Initiatives, and Facilities Management.
Immediately prior to his tenure at 4D, Mr. Quaglin served as Director of Human Resources for Metal Textiles Corp., responsible for all Human Resources functions for multiple manufacturing companies.
In this capacity, he managed the entire Human Resources function as well as Labor Relations. During his tenure he implemented many employee focused programs, redesigned and implemented a new compensation and benefits structure, and headed up the organizational development and succession planning function. Previously he held the position of Director of Human Resources for Ascom Timeplex, an international telecommunications technology equipment provider. There, he directed business unit Human Resources efforts in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Ireland and Canada, with responsibility for all recruitment efforts, EEO and Affirmative Action programs, assisted with the implementation of ISO 9000 certification across all manufacturing locations and spearheaded the institution of corporate wide training initiatives.
Mr. Quaglin holds a BS in Business Administration from Parsons College, with continuing studies in Human Resources Management from Kean University. |
